Shipping Info

Dear dancers (updated Monday 10/23, 1:40 pm PST),

To those visiting our site during these unprecedented times, we are open for business and doing our best to fulfill the many orders coming in as a result of the school and dance studio closures. In an effort to streamline production, the only floors available will be the Natural Classic (still with your choice of handles). Reluctantly, we’ll be suspending sale of all XL, purple, gray an, pink floors, and frames until further notice**.

**Sorry, but we’ve had to again suspend sales of the purple and gray floors in order to keep up with the increased order activity.

Orders placed through 10/8 have all shipped out.  Orders received from 10/9 should begin shipping 10/26 (revised from 10/19).

In order to get floors out as quickly as possible, all floors shipped from now until further notice will be shipping with a clear finish which hasn’t fully cured (dried).  For the first week after receiving your floor, please keep your dancing low-impact – no digs or toes.

Changes in vendor shipping schedules and inventory are making things a bit tricky, and the above shipping estimates are subject to change.  I’ll do my best to continue to updating this section as necessary, so feel free to check back from time to time. I’ll be available at or phone (510) 379-4747 to answer any questions you may have.

Please stay safe and healthy and thank you very much for your interest in our products.

Our Shipping Policy

All shipping costs will calculate automatically at the checkout. Shipping, Handling, and Insurance charges are not refundable. Please make sure you have entered your shipping address correctly and completely. If the order has to be re-sent due to the incorrect street name, suite or apartment number, city name or zip code, we will charge $10 processing fee. There will be an automatic charge of $25.00 to your account for any shipment that is refused. Orders are generally shipped within 24-48 hrs of the order if the product is in stock at the time the order is received. Delivery time within the United States for FedEx Ground shipments (the default shipping method) is usually 2-5 business days – depending on destination. Please note that these times are approximate and we cannot be held responsible for shipments not delivered in the expected time frame.

(FedEx Ground Transit Times from California 94541)

The map above is a general representation of transit times for FedEx Ground shipments. In limited areas, transit times may differ between shipments between commercial an residential destinations. FedEx Ground business days are Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). FedEx Ground/Home shipping requires 4 days to Alaska and 4-5 to Hawaii.

Example: A package shipped via FedEx Ground on Monday with a transit schedule of 2 business days (not including the day the package is shipped) would be expected for delivery on Wednesday. A package shipped on Friday with a 2-day transit schedule would be expected for delivery the following Tuesday.

We ship everywhere!

International shipping rates and times depend on the destination — if you have any questions after reviewing the list below, please send an e-mail inquiry to Any customs, taxes, brokerage fees or import duties are buyer’s responsibility. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We do not take responsibility for goods confiscated by customs officials or other authorities. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, and the buyers are advised to contact their local customs office for further information before placing your order.

International orders

International orders are shipped via either the United States Postal Service USPS Priority Mail International (Canada always -see above*) or FedEx International Economy. It depends on what types of rates are being offered at the time of shipment. Both methods include a tracking number. The USPS says to allow 6 – 10 days for delivery, and we’ve found that door-to-door delivery averages 8 days to most destinations (5 – 7 to Canada). FedEx is usually several days quicker. If there’s a slow-down, it’s usually in customs. Per-floor, 2 floors are much cheaper to ship than 1, so tell your friends!  Don’t forget to allow for customs duties/taxes in your country.  We do not collect any of these fees at the time of purchase.
